We currently have around 80 employees with offices in Borlänge, Västerås, Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, and Malmö. We are now looking for an experienced and engaged Lead Architect who wants to continue developing Archus's business and architectural offerings in Dalarna.

As a Lead Architect, you will have a central and business-oriented role where you are responsible for leading and developing architectural assignments throughout the entire process. You work closely with clients, project managers, technical consultants, and contractors, and are a key part of creating long-term customer relationships and developing new business opportunities in the region.

You lead projects from early stages, analyses, and investigations to design and final documentation. You coordinate the design work, ensure high quality in deliverables, and serve as a support and sounding board for colleagues. The role also involves contributing to the continued development of Archus's operations and offerings in Dalarna.

You will work on projects of varying sizes and complexities. The projects include offices, housing, industry, educational facilities, public buildings, and urban development. Assignments range from early idea and development stages to qualified design and implementation.

are a trained architect, preferably SAR/MSA or equivalent, and have extensive experience in qualified design and project leadership. You are confident in independently driving projects through the entire process and have experience taking responsibility for both quality and customer relations as well as project implementation.

You master modern design tools and express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

We believe you have an established network in Dalarna or see the opportunity to build long-term relationships in the region. You have experience with complex construction projects – for example, within the public sector, industry, housing, commercial properties, or educational facilities. The most important thing for us is not what type of project you come from, but that you have the ability to take overall responsibility, build trust with clients, and lead assignments with high quality and business acumen.

As a person, you are business-minded, responsive, and relationship-building, with a natural ability to build trust with both clients and colleagues. You enjoy taking responsibility, making decisions, and driving projects forward, while also being unpretentious and appreciating collaboration with others.
